Refund policy
Right of withdrawal
You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, write to info@rattatanshop.mt stating your order number and the products you wish to return, or send us the completed withdrawal form (at the end of the Terms and Conditions).
From the date you notify your withdrawal, you have a further 14 days to send the products back to us.
Cancelling an order
Before shipping: you can cancel your order as long as it has not left our warehouse, by writing to info@rattatanshop.mt. If you paid by credit card, PayPal, instalments or bank transfer, 2% of the amount will be withheld from the refund to cover bank charges.
After shipping: once the order has left our warehouse, it can no longer be cancelled or changed. You can still exercise your right of withdrawal after delivery: in this case the return costs are paid by you, as described below.
How to return the products
The products must be returned complete with accessories and instructions, packed suitably for transport, preferably in the original packaging. You may examine the products as you would in a shop; if handling has reduced their value, the refund may be reduced proportionally.
Return costs are paid by you. You can choose between two options:
- Collection arranged by us: at your request, we arrange collection by our courier. We will tell you the cost before proceeding and deduct it from the amount to be refunded.
- Return by your own means: you can return the products with a courier of your choice, at your own expense, provided the shipment is trackable. In this case the transport is at your own risk; we recommend keeping the proof of shipment.

Refund
We will refund you within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal, using the same payment method used for the purchase. The refund includes standard delivery costs; if you chose collection arranged by us, its cost will be deducted. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products or until you have shown proof of having sent them.
Exclusions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to measure or personalised at your request.
Products damaged in transit
On delivery, check the number of parcels and the condition of the packaging. If any packaging is damaged, sign for the delivery "with reservation" and describe the damage.
Report any damage within 8 days of delivery by writing to info@rattatanshop.mt, with photos of the product and the packaging.
Legal guarantee
All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity of 24 months from delivery. In the event of a defect you are entitled to have the product repaired or replaced free of charge; the related shipping costs are paid by us.
